With the much-hyped Oasis reunion tour set to kick off in a matter of days — tickets sold out faster than you can shout “Definitely Maybe!” — the timing could not have been worse. Fans were divided, social media went into meltdown, and #LiamGallagher was trending for all the wrong reasons.
In a rare moment of reflection (and probably after a very tense phone call with PR), Liam issued a public apology:
