If thereโs one group of people who deserve a standing ovation, itโs the Steelhouse Access Team.
From the moment you arrive, youโre greeted with smiles, kindness and a genuine willingness to help. Nothing ever seems too much trouble. Whether itโs answering questions, helping people settle into camp, offering directions or simply checking that everyone is okay, the team go above and beyond throughout the entire weekend.
At the heart of Access Camp is the wonderfully named Cwtsh Cabinโand if youโre Welsh, youโll know exactly why that name is so perfect.
For those who donโt know, a cwtsh isnโt just a hug. Itโs a feeling of comfort, warmth, safety and belonging.
The Cwtsh Cabin lives up to that name from the moment you walk through the door. Itโs the heart of the Access community, where festival-goers are welcomed with open arms, friendly faces and, yes, even a genuine welcome hug if youโd like one.
Itโs somewhere to stop for a chat, have a laugh, ask for advice, recharge for a while or simply enjoy the company of fellow rock fans. Throughout the weekend it becomes a place where friendships are made, stories are shared and everyone looks out for one another.
Watching the Access Team in action was genuinely heart-warming. They donโt just provide assistanceโthey create an environment where everyone feels valued, respected and included. Their passion, patience and infectious positivity are a huge part of what makes the Steelhouse experience so memorable.
For us, the Cwtsh Cabin perfectly sums up everything Steelhouse Festival stands for: community, kindness and rock โnโ roll family.
To every single member of the Access Teamโthank you. You donโt just help people enjoy the festivalโฆ you help make it feel like home. โค๏ธ๐ค
