๐ฃ๏ธ The Man, The Myth, The Mileage
You know him as the smooth-talking, riff-worshipping voice of Planet Rock โ but now, Wyatt Wendels is trading studio airwaves for stormy roads and sore legs. Yep, the legend himself is setting off on what might just be his most bonkers mission yet: โWyattโs Road to Rockstock 2025.โ
This ainโt your average jog around the park, mun. This is 700 miles of running, walking, and cycling from the north of England all the way to Trecco Bay, South Wales, home of Planet Rockstock โ the UKโs loudest winter festival.
Rain, wind, tears, blisters, and probably the odd seagull attack โ Wyattโs taking it all in stride, all in the name of charity, music, and madness.
๐ฏ The Mission: 700 Miles of Pure Rock
Wyattโs mission is simple: to reach Planet Rockstock 2025 under his own power โ by foot, pedal, and sheer rock โnโ roll determination.
Every mile brings him closer to raising vital funds for mental health and music charities, causes that have long been close to his heart. โItโs about the journey,โ he says, โand proving that no matter how tough it gets, you can always keep moving โ especially if thereโs a good riff playing in your ears.โ ๐ง
Heโs calling it Wyattโs Road to Rockstock โ and trust us, this ainโt no cruise.
๐ดโโ๏ธ The Route: From Chaos to Cymru
The adventure kicks off up north, where Wyatt will begin the first of his gruelling miles through Englandโs backroads, Welsh valleys, and coastal chaos.
- ๐ Start Line: Somewhere soggy and northern (classic).
- ๐ดโโ๏ธ Midway Madness: Through the Midlands, dodging traffic cones and service station sausage rolls.
- ๐๏ธ The Final Push: Across the Welsh border and down into Bridgend County, finishing in Trecco Bay, Porthcawl โ just in time to host the festival and raise a pint to survival. ๐บ
Fans are already planning to join him for sections of the journey โ on bikes, on foot, or from the pub window cheering โCโMON WYATT!โ while clutching a pint of Doom Bar.
๐ช Why Heโs Doing It
This isnโt Wyattโs first mad challenge. Oh no.
In the past, heโs conquered everything from marathon charity rides to endurance tests that would make a Navy SEAL cry.
But this oneโs personal. Itโs about raising awareness for mental health, for the power of music to heal, and for showing that the rock community stands together โ through storms, sweat, and soundchecks.
Heโs raising funds for multiple causes, with all proceeds going to charities that support musicians, mental wellbeing, and communities that rely on the healing power of music. ๐ถโค๏ธ
๐บ๏ธ The Playlist to Power Him On
You didnโt think Wyatt would hit the road without a killer soundtrack, did you?
Hereโs a taste of his โRoad to Rockstockโ playlist โ designed to make each step a little more epic:
- AC/DC โ Highway to Hell (obviously)
- Foo Fighters โ Walk
- Judas Priest โ Breaking the Law
- Iron Maiden โ Run to the Hills
- Motorhead โ Iron Horse / Born to Lose
- Green Day โ Boulevard of Broken Dreams
- The Prodigy โ Out of Space
- Those Damn Crows โ Sin on Skin (a bit of Welsh pride, tidy!) ๐ด
We wouldnโt be shocked if he hits Trecco Bay blasting Thunderstruck at full volume, legs gone, grin intact. โก
๐ค Fans Rally Behind Wyatt
As soon as Planet Rock dropped the announcement, fans across the UK flooded social media with love, encouragement, and the odd joke about getting him a mobility scooter.

โ @WelshRockerDi
Listeners are even planning meet-up checkpoints along the route โ complete with mini acoustic jams, car park singalongs, and possibly a few beers (for hydration, obviously). ๐ป
๐ The Finish Line: Rockstock or Bust
After hundreds of miles, countless blisters, and a mountain of energy drinks, Wyattโs journey will come to a roaring end at Planet Rockstock 2025, where heโll be greeted by thousands of fans, guitars blazing, and the Welsh coast howling in approval.
Trecco Bay will never have seen anything like it โ a man whoโs literally run to the festival before hitting the stage.
Imagine it: Wyatt collapsing on the sand, a pint raised in one hand, shouting,
โI MADE IT, MUN!โ ๐ด๐ฅ
Thatโs rock โnโ roll, that is.

๐ง๏ธ From the Studio to the Storm
From radio decks to roadside puddles, Wyattโs Road to Rockstock 2025 isnโt just about getting from A to B โ itโs about proving that rock never quits.
Itโs loud. Itโs gritty. Itโs a little bit daft. But itโs also incredibly human.
Wyattโs out there showing the world that rockers donโt just play hard โ they fight hard, give back, and keep moving, even when their feet scream louder than a Marshall stack.
So next time youโre moaning about the rain, think of Wyatt somewhere on the A470, soaked to the bone, grinning like a madman, shouting,
โTURN IT UP!โ ๐๐ฅ
