Held on 19–20 July 2014, Steelhouse Festival 2014 cranked up the volume, dialled in the denim, and packed out the mountain with a lineup bursting with classic rock giants, NWOBHM icons, and Welsh warriors. Rain or shine (and let’s be honest, probably both 🌧️☀️), this year delivered a face-melting weekend of riffs in the heart of Cymru!

    YES – the mighty Europe headlined Saturday night, and when “The Final Countdown” echoed across the Valleys, the mountain absolutely erupted. Bombastic, polished, and stadium-sized.

    Rising from the ashes of Thin Lizzy, these legends-in-the-making brought swagger and soul with hits like “Bound for Glory” and “Kingdom of the Lost.”

    Groovy, modern, and full of 60s swagger with 70s riffage. A Steelhouse favourite in the making.

  • Buffalo Summer 🦬🌞
    Neath’s own blues rockers, soaking up the sun and absolutely slaying it. Proudly flying the Welsh flag!

  • Falling Red ❤️🎸
    Sleaze rock, loud and proud – think Mötley Crüe via the Lake District.

  • Michael Schenker’s Temple of Rock 🎸🛕 (Headliner)
    The guitar god himself, with a band of legends including former Scorpions and Rainbow members. “Rock You Like a Hurricane” and “Doctor Doctor” on the mountain? Absolute scenes!

  • Heaven’s Basement 🔥🏠
    One of the UK’s most exciting live acts at the time – raw, high-energy, and tight as hell.

  • The Treatment 💊🎤
    Young guns bringing back the old-school, with big riffs and even bigger hair.

  • Skam ⚡🎶
    Modern hard rock trio delivering thick riffs and festival fury.

  • Western Sand 🏜️🎸
    Southern-fried UK rock – bluesy, crunchy, and full of swagger.
