Classic-rock giants Foreigner are turning down the amplifiers — but certainly not the emotion — for a rare run of intimate acoustic concerts in April 2027.
The newly announced Foreigner Unplugged tour will visit just four European cities, giving fans the chance to hear some of rock’s biggest anthems completely reimagined.
We’re talking huge melodies, stripped-back arrangements and enough classic-rock nostalgia to make every lighter in the building rise into the air. Proper goosebumps territory, butt! 🤘
🎤 Four Musicians, Four Cities and One Massive Catalogue
The special acoustic line-up will feature:
- Luis Carlos Maldonado – vocals and guitar
- Jeff Pilson – bass
- Bruce Watson – guitar
- Michael Bluestein – keyboards
Together, the quartet will give Foreigner’s legendary catalogue an unplugged makeover, placing the spotlight firmly on the vocals, musicianship and timeless songwriting.
Rather than the full arena-rock explosion, these concerts promise something considerably more personal — a chance to hear every note, harmony and emotional punch without walls of amplification getting in the way.
📅 Foreigner Unplugged 2027 Tour Dates
- 12 April 2027 – 3Olympia Theatre, Dublin
- 14 April 2027 – London Palladium, London
- 16 April 2027 – L’Olympia, Paris
- 18 April 2027 – Globe Wien, Vienna
British singer-songwriter Billy Lockett will appear as the special guest in Dublin, London and Paris. He is not currently listed for the Vienna concert. The four-date itinerary and supporting line-up were announced on 4 September 2026.
Sadly, there’s no Welsh date on the schedule — criminal behaviour, frankly — but Dublin and London should both be cracking nights for travelling fans. 🐉🎸

🎟️ When Do Tickets Go On Sale?
The Foreigner fan presale begins at 10am local time on Monday 7 September 2026.
Tickets then go on general sale at 10am local time on Wednesday 9 September 2026.
Ticket prices have not yet been confirmed. With only four shows announced — and venues considerably more intimate than the arenas Foreigner regularly command — fans may need quicker fingers than Eddie Van Halen after three espressos. ☕🔥
