Sea Sessions takes over the seaside town of Bundoran for a weekend combining live music with surfing and beach culture.
And that’s a pretty tasty combination.
Rather than being stuck miles from civilisation in an enormous field, festival-goers get the atmosphere of a full town joining the party.
The musical programme mixes indie, rock, electronic, hip-hop and alternative artists, while surfing remains a major part of the festival’s identity.
Bundoran is already one of Ireland’s best-known surfing destinations, making Sea Sessions feel completely at home there.

Beyond the Pale has quickly developed a reputation as one of Ireland’s most interesting boutique festivals.
Held on the beautiful Glendalough Estate in County Wicklow, the festival combines carefully curated music with food, art and performance.
The emphasis is less about cramming the maximum possible number of people through the gates and more about creating a complete weekend experience.
That immediately gets our attention.
The musical programme moves between alternative artists, electronic acts, indie names and emerging talent.
And because the capacity is considerably smaller than Electric Picnic, you’re less likely to spend half the weekend trying to navigate a crowd the size of Newport.

Less walking.
Smaller crowds.
More opportunities to discover bands.
More chance of bumping into the same festival characters repeatedly until you’re basically mates by Sunday afternoon.
