🎪 Steelhouse Festival 2016 Lineup 🏔️🐉

Held on 23–24 July 2016, Steelhouse Festival continued to build its legacy as the UK’s highest-altitude rock festival – and 2016 cranked the volume and the energy all the way up! With big-name headliners, local legends, and a valley full of Welsh pride, the mountain rocked hard under the summer sky. 🌥️🤘

🔥 Saturday – July 23rd

• Thunder ⚡🎤 (Headliners)
  British hard rock royalty! Their first-ever appearance at Steelhouse and they absolutely owned it. A flawless set filled with crowd singalongs – “Love Walked In,” “Backstreet Symphony” – pure arena energy on the mountain.

• The Answer 🇮🇪🔥
  Northern Irish blues-rock juggernauts with soulful vocals and swagger. “Under the Sky” and “Spectacular” hit harder than ever live.

• The Dead Daisies 💀🌼
  A revolving-door supergroup of rock legends (members of Guns N’ Roses, Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy!) – high-octane, classic rock with teeth.

• Tax the Heat 🎩🎸
  Sharp suits, sharper riffs – these lads brought a modern groove that had heads nodding all through the hills.

• Buffalo Summer 🦬🌞
  Proudly Welsh and wildly talented – soulful southern-tinged rock straight outta Neath.

• Hand of Dimes ✋🎵
  Featuring ex-Skin frontman Nev MacDonald, their set was heartfelt, melodic, and properly tidy.

• Bröken Chords 🎶🔥
  Young, raw and ready to bring the noise. Up-and-coming rock with a punch.

🤘 Sunday – July 24th

• Sebastian Bach 🎤💋 (Headliner)
  The former Skid Row frontman brought the glam, the screams, and the sass! “Youth Gone Wild” and “18 and Life” had the entire mountain singing along. One of the most high-energy sets Steelhouse had seen to date!

• Blues Pills 💎🌀
  Soulful, psychedelic, and powerful. Elin Larsson’s vocals soared over the hills – pure magic.

• Terrorvision 🐯🍻
  Pure 90s Brit-rock energy! “Tequila” had everyone in full party mode.

• The Treatment 💊⚡
  Young, loud, and hungry – like AC/DC meets Airbourne with a touch of chaos.

• Vega 🌟🎶
  Melodic rock with big choruses and polished performance. Perfect afternoon festival fare.

• Florence Black 🌑🔥
  Making early Steelhouse waves, these Merthyr lads brought serious fire and would go on to dominate future years.

• Henry’s Funeral Shoe 👞🎤
  Raw, bluesy Welsh duo with fuzzed-out guitars and stomping rhythm – small setup, big sound!

🏁 Final Thoughts – Steelhouse 2016

With a legendary mix of glam, blues, melodic, and heavy rock, 2016 proved that Steelhouse had truly come into its own. Thunder and Sebastian Bach each brought massive headline sets, and the undercard was packed with rising stars and Welsh wonders.
