Florence + The Machine • Twenty One Pilots • Lewis Capaldi • SOMBR • Biffy Clyro • Underworld • Ashnikko • Lambrini Girls • Bad Nerves • ALT BLK ERA & loads more

What’s occurring, festival gremlins? The Island of Freedom has finally cracked open its gates and lobbed the first chunk of the Sziget 2026 line-up straight at our sunburnt faces. And tidy mun… it’s a monster.

From ethereal indie pagans to emotional scream-lords, punk chaos dealers, rave dynamos and enough alt-pop lunacy to resurrect the entire Tumblr era, this first wave is everything we hoped for and then some.

Grab your bucket hat, your biodegradable glitter and your dodgiest pair of sunglasses. We’re heading to Budapest.

🌟 THE HEADLINERS: FOUR VERY DIFFERENT TITANS

🌺 FLORENCE + THE MACHINE

Florence is returning like some sort of barefoot festival deity ready to summon a Danube-sized emotional tide. Expect a set full of witchy catharsis, giant choruses and mass communal screaming as she pirouettes across the stage with the elegance of a rock ’n’ roll banshee. This one’s going to be biblical.

🎧 TWENTY ONE PILOTS

Bring your face paint, your feelings and your finest “this song changed my life” energy. Twenty One Pilots headline with that distinctive blend of alt-rock, emo, hip hop and chaos that turns every crowd into a cult gathering. If they drop “Stressed Out” and “Heathens” back to back, the island might actually levitate.

😭 LEWIS CAPALDI

The man, the myth, the absolute menace. Lewis Capaldi returns ready to make 50,000 people cry, laugh, then cry again. His headline slot will be equal parts emotional devastation and filthy humour. Honestly, it’s the perfect Sziget mood cocktail.

🔊 SOMBR

Electronic titan SOMBR closes out the top tier with a cinematic, high-production, late-night headline set built for dancing until your spine forgets it’s attached to your body. Moody lights, big drops, emotional walls of sound — the whole lot.

🎸 ROCK, PUNK & ALT MAYHEM

Sziget is never content with just pretty choruses and dance bangers. They’ve lined up a filthy little army of guitar-swinging troublemakers to keep the pits frothy.

🐺 BIFFY CLYRO

Scotland’s riff juggernauts return to Sziget. Shirtless carnage, weird time signatures, colossal singalongs… “Many of Horror” at sunset? That’s therapy, butt.

⚡ BAD NERVES

One of the most electrifying punk bands doing the rounds right now. High speed, high volume, high chaos — exactly the kind of set you stumble into and leave feeling like you’ve been reborn in lager.

🍾 LAMBRINI GIRLS

The queens of queer punk riot energy. Their shows are part gig, part protest, part hilarious meltdown. Expect crowd invasions, rants, riffs and joyful anarchy.

🩸 ALT BLK ERA

Metal, trap, darkness, future energy. ALT BLK ERA are the kind of act you watch once then immediately tell everyone you know that you’ve discovered the next big thing.

👹 KIM DRACULA

Somewhere between metal, hyperpop and pure fever dream. Expect costumed chaos, TikTok-core aggression and the type of sound that makes you text your mates “wtf did I just witness?” in the best way.

🌈 POP, INDIE & ODDBALL DELIGHTS

🤖 ASHINKKO

Cyber-gremlin energy. Hyperpop filth. Weaponised camp. Ashnikko is basically built for Sziget’s feral 1am crowd who haven’t slept since Tuesday.

🧢 bbno$

The meme-rap party lord. You will dance. You will cringe-laugh. You will shout lyrics you don’t understand. It’s Sziget tradition.

🎸 GIANT ROOKS, TASH SULTANA, CHARLOTTE CARDIN, BROOKE COMBE

Indie royalty and rising global stars who will absolutely own those golden-hour stages. Tash Sultana doing loop-pedal wizardry as the sun drops? Inject it.

🥟 BABY LASAGNA, PARIS PALOMA, CASSIA

A proper buffet of styles from Balkan pop-chaos to tender folk heartbreakers. Sziget knows how to curate the flavours, mun.

🚇 RAVE NATION: UNDERWORLD, DOM DOLLA, ANNA & FRIENDS

Now for the bit where you lose track of time, reality and your mate Gav.

🚇 UNDERWORLD

A THIRTY-YEAR WAIT IS OVER. Underworld return to Sziget, and the Danube may actually boil when “Born Slippy” drops. Massive booking.

🔊 DOM DOLLA

Your knees are not ready. Your back is not ready. The bass will do unspeakable things to both.

🌀 ANNA, JORIS VOORN, PAN-POT

Techno excellence for the hardcore ravers who didn’t spend £250 on glitter to stand still.

💎 SIM0NE, JAZZY, ZIMMER90

A tasty spread of modern electronic talent for the daytime wobblers and late-night wanderers.

🇭🇺 HOMEGROWN HEROES & LOCAL LEGENDS

As always, Sziget champions its Hungarian talent with pride. Acts like Makrohang, Elefánt, Sisi, Karen Dió, BIIA and more are repping the home scene with everything from indie rock to electronic soul. These sets are always gorgeous, chaotic, and wildly wholesome — never skip them.

🏴 UK & WELSH REPRESENTATION

Represent, butt! Between Capaldi, Biffy, Ashnikko, Lambrini Girls, Bad Nerves, ALT BLK ERA and the assorted indie darlings, the UK is turning up in force this year. If history is any guide, there will be at least:

  • three Welsh flags on sticks
  • a rogue inflatable leek
  • two lads from Bridgend trying to barter for sun cream
  • a group singing “Hymns and Arias” at 5am for no reason at all

Pure culture.

🎟 EARLY VERDICT: SZIGET 2026 IS ALREADY A BELTER

This first wave feels like a festival leaning fully into emotional carnage, big-tent chaos, alt-pop glitter, rave fury and proper rock energy.

It’s eclectic.
It’s loud.
It’s unhinged.
It’s Sziget.

And we’ve only just begun.
