๐ธ THE REUNION OF THE DECADE
After 16 years of bust-ups, bitter interviews, and broken dreams, the Gallagher brothers finally shook hands (metaphorically) and plugged in their guitars. The message across the stage screens before they emerged said it all:
โTHIS IS NOT A DRILL.โ
What followed was two hours of nostalgia-fuelled anthems, chaotic crowd chants, and emotional singalongs. Heaton Park became the centre of the universe โ or at least, it bloody felt like it.

Good news, sweaty legends! There were four official refill points across the park:

Manchester brought the vibes. From bucket hats with Union Jacks to homemade T-shirts with โWhere were you while we were getting high?โ, the fans made this feel like Glasto in a football stadium. AO were even giving out free Oasis-themed hats and phone chargers at the tram stop earlier in the day (tidy, that).
๐ GETTING THERE โ A MISSION AND A HALF
Many were told to walk after tram delays hit 90 minutes. The city had clearly underestimated Gallagher Maniaโข. People legged it, jogged it, even scootered it down to Heaton Park with pints in hand.

- Best moment? โLive Foreverโ into โChampagne Supernova.โ Honestly, pure spiritual awakening.
- Worst moment? ยฃ7.50 for a warm pint with no head.
- Funniest? Bloke in a Man City shirt got hoisted up during โWonderwallโ and shouted, โLiam for Mayor!โ

The Gallaghers gave Manchester what it had been begging for since 2009 โ a sweaty, shouty, swagger-filled night of love, loudness, and lighters in the sky. Was it perfect? Nah. But it wasnโt about perfection. It was about Oasis being bloody Oasis again.
And as the crowd sang the final notes of โDonโt Look Back in Anger,โ you could feel it: Manchester healed a bit tonight.
