Sicilian extreme metallers ESCAPEINOUT have officially joined the international roster of Brutal Records, bringing with them a thundering new album packed with crushing riffs, apocalyptic atmosphere and enough existential dread to make your morning coffee feel dangerously optimistic. ☕💀
Released worldwide on 21 August 2026, The Age of Collapse: As Above, So Below marks a major new chapter for the band — one built upon controlled aggression, dynamic songwriting and a bleak examination of humanity’s relationship with the world around it.
In other words, the planet might be falling apart, butt, but at least it has a savage soundtrack. 🌍🔥
Born in the Sicilian Underground 🇮🇹🤘
Formed in Catania, Sicily, in 2011, ESCAPEINOUT have spent more than a decade developing their identity within the Italian underground metal circuit.
Their uncompromising approach has earned recognition from respected publications including MetalItalia and Metal Hammer Italia, helping the band steadily build a reputation beyond their home city.
Following a creative reset in 2023, ESCAPEINOUT emerged with a refined vision. The brutality remained firmly in place, but the band began pushing further into atmospheric, melodic and dynamic territory.
The result is a sound that feels vicious without becoming chaotic — every riff, rhythm and ominous passage has a purpose.
Welcome to the Age of Collapse ⚠️🌍
The Age of Collapse: As Above, So Below explores environmental destruction, human excess and the uncomfortable duality between creation and collapse.
It isn’t exactly a collection of cheerful summer anthems for the beer garden. This is music staring directly into humanity’s growing pile of bad decisions and asking whether we’ve already crossed the point of no return.
Sharp guitar work collides with tightly controlled rhythms, menacing vocals and an evolving sense of atmosphere. The album delivers plenty of extreme-metal punishment, but it also gives its darker ideas room to breathe.
It’s heavy without becoming bloated, aggressive without sacrificing clarity and atmospheric without wandering off into the mist for twenty minutes. Proper job. 🤘
Guest appearances from F. Burtone and Andy Neri bring additional character to selected tracks while preserving the album’s identity and carefully constructed flow.
The Singles 🔥🎧
The album campaign began with “The Wait”, released on 5 June 2026, offering listeners an early taste of ESCAPEINOUT’s renewed direction.
That was followed on 10 July 2026 by “No Time”, featuring guest performer F. Burtone.
Together, the singles laid the groundwork for a record filled with urgency, darkness and the creeping feeling that the clock is rapidly running down.

A Brutal New Chapter 🤘🔥
Joining Brutal Records places ESCAPEINOUT on an international platform and signals the beginning of their most ambitious chapter yet.
The Age of Collapse: As Above, So Below doesn’t simply attempt to batter listeners into submission. Beneath the sonic violence is a carefully structured record wrestling with environmental decay, destructive behaviour and the uncertain future humanity appears determined to create for itself.
It’s bleak, forceful and packed with riffs sharp enough to slice through reinforced concrete.
For metal fans who like their brutality served with atmosphere, purpose and a looming sense of planetary disaster, ESCAPEINOUT are a name worth getting firmly onto the radar.
The age of collapse has arrived, mun — and it sounds absolutely massive. 🌍💀🔥
The Age of Collapse: As Above, So Below is available worldwide in digital and physical formats through Brutal Records.
