Kelly Osbourne and Sid Wilson’s relationship appears to have gone from backstage romance to full-blown rock ’n’ roll fallout — and now child support, personal belongings and some seriously pointed social media posts have entered the picture.
Well then.
This one has gone from “celebrity split” to “someone’s definitely muted the family WhatsApp group” rather quickly. 😬
Kelly Osbourne has posted a series of emotional messages on social media amid the breakdown of her relationship with longtime partner and former fiancé Sid Wilson, with several posts appearing to take direct aim at the Slipknot musician.
And one particular comment has grabbed everyone’s attention:
Child support.
Yep. Things are getting messy, mun.
💔 Kelly Osbourne and Sid Wilson Call Time on Their Engagement
Kelly and Sid’s story stretches back considerably further than their romantic relationship.
The pair originally met through the world of Ozzfest, where Slipknot became one of the defining bands associated with the festival during their rise at the end of the ’90s.
After more than two decades of friendship, Kelly confirmed their relationship in 2022.
Later that year, they welcomed their son Sidney.
Then came one hell of an engagement story.
In July 2025, Sid proposed to Kelly backstage following Ozzy Osbourne’s emotional final concert with Black Sabbath at Villa Park in Birmingham.
If you were writing a rock ’n’ roll love story, that’s about as spectacular a proposal setting as you’re ever going to get.
Ozzy.
Black Sabbath.
Villa Park.
The final show.
And Sid asking Kelly to marry him backstage.
Absolute movie stuff. 🎬🖤
Unfortunately, the happy ending didn’t last.
By March 2026, reports emerged that Kelly and Sid had called off their engagement following difficulties in their relationship.
The pair had reportedly attempted to make things work, particularly for their young son, before ultimately separating.
Now the situation appears considerably frostier.
👀 Kelly’s Instagram Posts Raise Eyebrows
Kelly recently posted a series of messages through Instagram Stories focusing heavily on themes of accountability, responsibility and protecting her son.
While she didn’t name Sid in every post, the timing — combined with the content — understandably led many fans to believe the messages were aimed at him.
One message was particularly difficult to misunderstand.
Kelly reportedly demanded the return of her possessions and dogs before adding a pointed reference to child support.
That sentence alone was enough to send celebrity and metal news pages into meltdown.
🔥🔥🔥
Because when someone publicly mentions returning the dogs and paying child support…
We’re fairly confident the honeymoon period is over.
👶 Kelly Says Her Son Comes First
Despite all the online drama surrounding the breakup, one theme running through Kelly’s posts has been clear:
Her son Sidney is her priority.
Kelly has spoken about protecting her child and putting his wellbeing ahead of everything else happening around her.
Whatever disagreements exist between Kelly and Sid, there’s a little boy caught in the middle of a very public separation.
And that changes things.
Arguments about belongings, money and relationships might generate headlines, but co-parenting continues long after Instagram Stories disappear after 24 hours.
Hopefully both sides can eventually find some stability away from the internet.
Because social media might be fantastic for band announcements and arguing about which Metallica album is best…
Family court? Not so much.
🖤 Kelly Has Already Been Through an Enormous Amount
It’s also worth remembering the wider circumstances surrounding Kelly’s life during the past year.
She lost her father, Ozzy Osbourne, in July 2025 following his hugely emotional final performance with Black Sabbath.
For Kelly and the wider Osbourne family, Ozzy wasn’t simply the Prince of Darkness, heavy metal royalty or one of the most influential musicians ever to walk onto a stage.
He was Dad.
Kelly has spoken openly about the devastating impact of losing him.
So within a relatively short period, she’s experienced the death of her father, the collapse of an engagement and the challenges of raising a young child.
That’s an enormous amount for anyone to deal with.
Rock royalty or otherwise.
🖤
🎧 And Then There’s Sid Wilson’s Slipknot Situation…
Because apparently this story wasn’t chaotic enough already.
Sid Wilson’s future with Slipknot has also become the subject of intense speculation.
Recent reports have claimed that the longtime DJ may no longer be part of the Iowa metal giants after almost three decades with the group.
That would be absolutely MASSIVE news.
Sid has been part of Slipknot’s identity since the band’s explosion into the mainstream around the release of their self-titled debut album.
The turntables.
The masks.
The stage dives.
The absolute lunacy.
Sid Wilson has always felt like one of the band’s most unpredictable members — which, considering we’re talking about Slipknot, is saying something.
But here’s the important bit.
⚠️ Slipknot themselves have not provided a full official explanation confirming everything being reported.
So while speculation is absolutely flying around the metal world, we’re not sticking Sid’s mask on eBay just yet.
Until the band or Sid gives fans definitive clarification, treat the wilder claims with caution.
Because Slipknot rumours spread faster than festival campsite gossip after somebody discovers the showers have stopped working.
🤘 From Ozzfest to Parenthood
There’s something particularly strange about watching this relationship unravel publicly because Kelly and Sid had such a long history.
They weren’t two celebrities who met at an awards ceremony six months before getting engaged.
They’d known each other for more than 20 years.
Their friendship stretched back to Slipknot’s early days around Ozzfest.
Eventually that friendship became something more.
In February 2022, Kelly publicly celebrated their relationship, expressing her disbelief that after so many years of friendship they’d ended up together romantically.
Later came Sidney.
Then the proposal.
And for a while, it looked like one of the stranger but genuinely lovely love stories to emerge from the heavy metal universe.
The daughter of Ozzy Osbourne.
The DJ from Slipknot.
A friendship lasting decades.
Then suddenly:
💍 Engagement.
👶 Parenthood.
💔 Separation.
📱 Instagram fallout.
🎧 Slipknot rumours.
Bloody hell.
Netflix producers are probably already hovering outside the house.
🔥 The Timing Has Sent Metal Fans Into Overdrive
The timing of Kelly’s posts has naturally fuelled even more discussion because they arrived while Sid’s alleged Slipknot situation was dominating metal news.
That has led to countless theories online connecting the two situations.
But there’s an important distinction to make.
Kelly’s relationship with Sid and Sid’s professional relationship with Slipknot are two separate things unless reliable evidence establishes otherwise.
Internet detectives absolutely love connecting dots.
Sometimes they’re correct.
Sometimes they’ve accidentally drawn a picture of a potato.
🥔
So until either Sid, Kelly or Slipknot publicly explains more, speculation should remain exactly that:
speculation.
🎤 Sid Hasn’t Publicly Answered Kelly’s Claims
At the time of writing, Sid has not issued a detailed public response addressing Kelly’s child-support comments or the broader accusations implied in her posts.
That means we’re currently hearing one side of an obviously complicated personal situation.
And while Kelly’s frustration appears very real, there’s undoubtedly considerably more happening behind closed doors than anyone watching from Instagram can understand.
Relationships are complicated.
Breakups are worse.
Breakups involving children are even harder.
And when both parents are famous?
Every argument suddenly becomes content for millions of strangers.
No pressure then.
🎸 The Riff Report Take
This might have started as a celebrity relationship story, but when one half of the relationship is Sid Wilson from Slipknot and the other is Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter, it’s inevitably going to crash straight through the doors of the rock world.
The sad part is that their relationship once looked genuinely brilliant.
Two people who had known each other since the Ozzfest days finally getting together decades later.
A son.
A proposal backstage at Ozzy’s final concert.
It had everything.
Unfortunately, relationships don’t always follow the setlist.
Now Kelly appears to be focusing on herself, her family and Sidney while Sid faces major questions about both his personal life and potentially his future with one of the biggest metal bands on Earth.
Hopefully whatever disagreements remain can eventually be resolved privately — particularly where their son is concerned.
As for Sid’s position with Slipknot?
👀 That’s the story we’re watching incredibly closely.
Because if one of Slipknot’s longest-serving members really has reached the end of his time with the band, that’s not merely gossip.
That’s a genuine heavy metal earthquake.
Until something official drops…
Keep those masks nearby.
Things could get interesting.
