The Australian underground tyrants are back with their third full-length album, The Festering Triad, landing May 29th 2026 via Apocalyptic Witchcraft, and this thing is an absolute nightmare wrapped in blast beats and soaked in apocalyptic misery.

Born in the shadows of Brisbane, Australia back in 2014, Graveir have steadily built themselves a reputation as one of the nastiest and most uncompromising forces in the black metal underground. Never ones to chase trends or jump on fashionable bandwagons, the band have carved their own rotten monument through sheer atmosphere, fury and unrelenting darkness.
After the release of their debut Iconostasis and the critically praised King Of The Silent World — described by Metal Bite as “captivatingly hypnotic” — Graveir now return with an album that feels bigger, darker and infinitely more dangerous.

A SOUNDTRACK FOR THE FALL OF HUMANITY 🌑🔥
From the opening moments of ‘Lords Of Misrule’, Graveir drag listeners into a suffocating abyss of crawling dread and corrupted grandeur. The guitars buzz and swarm like diseased insects while the atmosphere hangs heavy enough to choke the light out of the room.
Then comes ‘A Futile Exhortation’, exploding from the shadows in a violent torrent of primal aggression and feral chaos. Blast beats hammer like collapsing cathedrals while jagged riffs tear through the mix with savage intent.
This isn’t polished black metal designed for playlists and algorithms.
This is hostile. Ugly. Dangerous.

Tracks like ‘A Thief In The Heart Of Man’ drip with rage and desperation, while the towering title track ‘The Festering Triad’ marches forward with twisted majesty, cloaked in dread and blackened atmosphere.
By the time album closer ‘The Rite Of Degradation’ arrives, Graveir are in full destructive form — blending terrifying intensity with warped grandeur in a finale that feels like being trapped inside a ritual during the apocalypse.
