By The Riff Report Blog – soaked but smiling πŸ˜…

Well butt, if you thought a bit of sideways Welsh rain was gonna stop Steelhouse from blowing the top off the mountain, think again! πŸ’¦βš‘ Sunday at Steelhouse Festival 2025 was proof that rock β€˜n’ roll is waterproof, weatherproof, and 100% powered by soggy legends in leather jackets! 🀟

Let’s dive into our Sunday Steelhouse send-off β€” drenched, delirious, and absolutely delicious 🎀πŸ”₯

β˜” The Weather Tried… But Failed

From the early morning drizzle to the mid-afternoon downpours that turned mosh pits into mudslides, it was a day for ponchos, plastic bags on boots, and heroic umbrella wrestling. But guess what? NOT. A. SINGLE. SOUL. LEFT. 🌧️🏴

Steelhouse fans are made of mountain granite and lager, and you lot stuck it out with soggy smiles and headbangs in the rain. Proper job, mun. πŸ‘

πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ That’s all we can say.

Sophie melted faces and hearts alike – her set was pure technical wizardry meets stage presence for days. The Riff Report team was left speechless, and that NEVER happens (unless our mouths are full of Greggs).

β€œCowing lush, Sophie. Proper lush.” – someone definitely shouted that.

DAN BYRNE (ACOUSTIC VIP SET) β€“ Voice of an angel πŸ˜‡

In a secret hush-hush VIP performance, Dan Byrne’s acoustic session had the tent fully mesmerised. Honestly, it was like watching the heavens part. If you were there, you know. If not… we’re sorry, you missed something special.

✨ Goosebumps. Everywhere.

THOSE DAMN CROWS β€“ HOMEGROWN RIFF-AGEDDON πŸ¦…

HEADLINERS. HEROES. HURRICANE-MAKERS.

Those Damn Crows closed the festival with a hometown storm of riffs, fire, and feathers. The mountain erupted. The biggest singalongs of the weekend. The wildest pits. The proudest moment for Welsh rock in years.

This was THEIR mountain, and they owned it.

Rain? They spat in its face.

β€œYou’ve stuck with us through every gig, every storm, every bloody gust of wind – this is OUR night, Steelhouse!” – Shane Greenhall

Crowd size? Colossal. Vibes? Off the charts.

πŸ’€πŸ”₯ A headliner slot made in heaven – or more accurately, Neath.

🧼 CAMPERS, CLEAN-UP & CARNAGE

Despite the mud, soaked tents, and abandoned socks – the Steelhouse crowd left the mountain tidy, like the proper legends you are. Massive shoutout to everyone who took their rubbish, helped their neighbours, and showed why Steelhouse has the best fans on Earth.

πŸ’¬ FINAL THOUGHTS FROM THE MOUNTAIN

We’re soaked. We’re hoarse. We might never find our shoes again. But Steelhouse 2025 Sunday was a thunderous triumph – one that proved when the music’s loud and the crowd’s proud, nothing else matters.

Diolch Steelhouse. See you in 2026 – rain or shine. 😎🀘
