Marilyn Manson has unleashed his new album One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2, continuing the sinister chapter that began with 2024’s Chapter 1.

Released today, 14 August 2026, through Nuclear Blast Records, the nine-track record is officially Manson’s 13th studio album and arrives just days before he heads out across North America alongside Rob Zombie.

Yep. The Reverend is back, the make-up is on, the lights have gone red and things are getting wonderfully uncomfortable again. 😈

🖤 CHAPTER TWO HAS ARRIVED

One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 follows Manson’s 2024 comeback album One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1, carrying forward the dark, theatrical atmosphere of its predecessor.

Once again, Tyler Bates is heavily involved, with the record co-written and co-produced alongside Manson.

Rather than simply slapping a familiar name on another collection of songs, Chapter 2 feels positioned as the continuation of the world established on the previous record — bleak imagery, industrial weight, gothic atmosphere and the sort of unsettling theatricality Manson has built his career around.

And with only nine tracks, there’s not much room for filler here, butt.

This thing gets in, turns the lights off, causes trouble and leaves muddy footprints through the hallway. 🤘

💀 THE FULL TRACKLIST

The official One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 tracklist is:

  1. Unalive
  2. Don’t Answer The Door
  3. Front Toward Enemy
  4. All The Vilest Things
  5. None of the Suns
  6. Lucifer’s Teardrop
  7. The Arsonist
  8. Exit Wound
  9. Enantiomorph

Nine tracks. Nine cheerful little titles to stick on at your nan’s Sunday dinner. 😂

The closing track “Enantiomorph” is also the album’s longest song, clocking in at over six minutes.

🔥 “EXIT WOUND” OPENED THE DOOR

Our first proper taste of Chapter 2 arrived with “Exit Wound”, which accompanied the album announcement back in June.

The track immediately pointed towards a continuation of the sound Manson and Bates explored on Chapter 1: industrial textures, sinister atmosphere, massive guitars and melodic darkness wrapped around Manson’s unmistakable vocal delivery.

It wasn’t exactly subtle.

Then again, asking Marilyn Manson to be subtle is a bit like asking Motörhead to turn the amps down.

Not happening, mun.

🎸 “FRONT TOWARD ENEMY” MAKES THE ALBUM

One particularly interesting inclusion is “Front Toward Enemy”, which fans will recognise from the Raise The Red Flag single release.

Its appearance on Chapter 2 gives the song a permanent home within the album’s running order, sitting at track three between “Don’t Answer The Door” and “All The Vilest Things.”

Alongside “Exit Wound”, it gives the record two tracks that some fans will already have had firmly lodged in their skulls before release day.

💿 VINYL NERDS, PREPARE YOUR WALLETS

Naturally, this being 2026, there’s more than one version.

Because why release one bit of vinyl when you can tempt collectors into explaining another suspicious bank transaction?

Nuclear Blast has listed several physical variants, including green-and-blue marble, pink-and-red swirl, splatter and other limited pressings, alongside CD editions.

There’s even a Claymore vinyl pressing limited to 1,800 copies worldwide, although that particular edition is scheduled for release on 18 September 2026.

So if you’re one of those people who says:

“I’ve already got the album, I don’t need another copy…”

…and then somehow owns six colours of it by Christmas…

We see you.

We’re not judging.

We’re exactly the same. 😂💸

🇬🇧 UK FANS CAN GET IN ON IT TOO

UK collectors aren’t being forgotten.

HMV has an exclusive CD edition listed at £11.99, alongside the standard CD, while limited vinyl editions are also available through UK retailers.

So yes, there’s every opportunity to turn Chapter 2 into another expensive day for the record collection.

Lovely stuff.

🎤 AND NOW… ROB ZOMBIE

The timing of the album isn’t accidental either.

One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 lands immediately ahead of Manson’s upcoming North American co-headline tour with Rob Zombie.

And let’s appreciate that pairing for a second.

Marilyn Manson.

Rob Zombie.

One stage.

Enough industrial-metal theatrics to make your local fire marshal spontaneously develop a nervous twitch.

😂🔥

For fans of late-’90s and early-‘00s alternative metal spectacle, that’s one hell of a bill.

🖤 ANOTHER CHAPTER IN THE MANSON STORY

Whatever your feelings about Marilyn Manson and the enormous amount of controversy that has surrounded him throughout his career, there’s no denying that One Assassination Under God has become a significant new era in his discography.

Chapter 1 arrived in November 2024 after a four-year gap following We Are Chaos.

Now, less than two years later, Chapter 2 has landed.

And that title inevitably raises another question…

Is there going to be a Chapter 3? 👀

Nothing official says there will be, so we’re not getting ahead of ourselves.

But calling these records Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 certainly makes the whole thing feel like part of something bigger.

Whether this is where the story ends or another instalment is lurking somewhere in the shadows remains to be seen.

For now, though, the second assassination has arrived.

Turn the lights down.

Turn the volume up.

And maybe don’t answer the bloody door. 😈🤘
