“We’re not fighting. We’re not breaking up. We’re just… tired,” Draiman wrote online. “We’ve been on the road for years straight. Everyone needs a bit of breathing room. That’s it. Period.”
And fair play, mun — the lads have earned a nap. Following their massive Take Back Your Life world tour, which saw them flatten arenas across the globe, Draiman says it’s time for the band to breathe before diving into the next chapter.
He didn’t mince his words when calling out the headlines either:
“Every time we take a short break, people act like it’s the apocalypse. Sometimes, bands just need to rest their bodies and minds before the next chapter. It’s called being human.”
Let’s not forget — Disturbed have been one of modern metal’s most consistent forces for over two decades. From Down With the Sickness and Stupify to Indestructible and their haunting cover of The Sound of Silence, these blokes have delivered anthem after anthem while touring non-stop. 🥁🔥
Fans rallied behind Draiman’s honesty, flooding comment sections with support. One fan summed it up perfectly:
