The Guns N’ Roses guitar legend has resurrected both volumes of Music Of Universal Studios Hollywood – Halloween Horror Nights, with each album receiving a brand-new, suitably sinister colour pressing.
Released through Snakepit Records LLC and Deko Entertainment, the albums collect 21 original instrumental compositions created by Slash for Universal Studios Hollywood’s world-famous haunted attractions.
And these aren’t being churned out like plastic skeletons in a Halloween bargain bin, either — each variant is strictly limited to only 300 copies worldwide. Once they’ve vanished into the darkness, that’s your lot, butt! Deko Entertainment
💚 Swamp Thing And Yellow Smoke!
The two gruesome-looking 2026 editions are:
- Volume 1 — “Swamp Thing” coloured vinyl
- Volume 2 — “Yellow Smoke” coloured vinyl
Both records arrive in deluxe gatefold packaging and are available exclusively through Deko Entertainment.
Each album costs $49.98 — approximately £37 at the current exchange rate — although UK fans will need to allow for international postage, possible import charges and currency-conversion fees. 🎸 Slash: Master Of Riffs… And Haunted Houses
For the past eight years, Slash has been creeping beyond the concert stage and into the darkened corridors of Halloween Horror Nights.
Rather than simply chucking a few distorted riffs over the top and calling it a day, Slash approaches each haunted attraction like a film composer. The music is created scene by scene, building tension, guiding guests through the story and preparing them for whatever chainsaw-wielding lunatic is waiting around the next corner.
Honestly, it’s a dream combination: horror, monsters, vinyl and one of rock’s most recognisable guitarists. All that’s missing is a Greggs hidden inside Dracula’s castle.
The collection includes music associated with attractions such as Universal Monsters, The Bride Of Frankenstein Lives, Legends Collide, Universal Monsters: Unmasked and 2024’s Eternal Bloodlines.

🕯️ Slash Returns To Halloween Horror Nights
The top-hatted riff lord is also involved in Universal Studios Hollywood’s 2026 Halloween Horror Nights season.
Slash has supplied music for the new original haunted house KILLceañera: Music By Slash, which invites guests to Lola’s quinceañera — a birthday celebration involving vengeful ghosts, malevolent spirits and creatures from Latin American folklore.

🤘 The Riff Report Verdict
These aren’t simply novelty Halloween records with a famous name stamped across the sleeve. They represent another brilliantly strange corner of Slash’s career, capturing the atmosphere and cinematic menace of some of Universal’s biggest haunted attractions.
With previous editions selling out and just 300 copies of each new colour variant being produced, collectors may need to move faster than a terrified punter being chased through a maze by a bloke with a chainsaw.
