I’m Michael Nunn, founder, editor, photographer, reviewer, interviewer, social media goblin, website fixer, coffee drinker and probably the bloke currently running across a muddy festival field with a camera in one hand and a notebook in the other.
Yes… it’s basically a one-man rock ‘n’ roll operation.
🤘 Why I Started The Riff Report
The Riff Report was created because rock and metal deserve passionate, honest coverage from someone who genuinely loves the scene.
No clickbait.
No pretending every album is perfect.
No corporate waffle.
Just real opinions, real people and real festivals.
Whether it’s a stadium-sized legend or a local band playing to fifty people in a sweaty Welsh venue, every artist deserves to have their story told.

Throughout the year I’m usually somewhere doing at least one of the following:
