Sound the alarms, crack open a cold one, and tell the neighbours to brace themselves… because the Metal Gods are back at it again 😈🍺
Yep — Judas Priest have officially started working on their TWENTIETH studio album, and somehow, against all laws of time, age, and common sense… they’re still absolutely unstoppable.
🎤 “I Probably Shouldn’t Say This…” (…too late now, mate 😂)
In a cheeky slip during an interview with The Metal Voice, riff machine Richie Faulkner let the cat out of the bag like a man who knew exactly what he was doing.
The band?
Already been in the studio.
For a full month.
Back in February.
Yeah… this isn’t just talk — this thing is already cooking 🔥
Faulkner kept things mysterious, saying they were “laying the foundation” for the next record.
FOUNDATION?!
If this is just the groundwork, we’re about to get a full-blown metal fortress built out of riffs, leather, and pure chaos 🤘
⚡ Following Invincible Shield – No Pressure Then…
Let’s not forget what they’re following up here:
- Invincible Shield (2024)
- A proper heavyweight of a record that proved Priest aren’t just legacy legends… they’re still out here swinging like champions
That album hit like a steel chair to the face — packed with soaring vocals, screaming solos, and enough energy to power half of Birmingham ⚡
So yeah… expectations for album #20?
Ridiculously high. And rightly so.
🏭 STILL FORGING METAL AFTER 50+ YEARS?!
Let’s take a second to appreciate the madness here:
- Over FIVE decades deep in the game
- Nearly 20 albums (and counting!)
- Still writing new material
- Still dominating stages worldwide
This isn’t nostalgia… this is metal immortality, mun 🦾🔥
Bands come and go, trends rise and fall… but Priest?
They just keep marching on like a leather-clad tank with twin guitar cannons strapped to the side.
🤘 What Could This New Album Sound Like?
Details are scarce right now — tighter than a snare drum before a Slayer cover band kicks off 🥁
But based on recent form, expect:
- Huge, anthemic riffs
- Classic Priest energy with a modern edge
- Vocals that still defy human biology
- Tracks that’ll absolutely detonate live crowds
And let’s be honest… there’s gonna be at least one song that turns a festival field into a full-blown warzone.
🚨 RIFF REPORT VERDICT
New Judas Priest album in the works?
OH YES. AND IT’S ALREADY UNDERWAY. 🤘🔥
No release date yet. No title. No teasers.
Just the knowledge that somewhere, in a studio, heavy metal history is being written again.
And that’s enough to get every rocker in Wales (and beyond) buzzing like a dodgy amp on full blast ⚡
