The Metal Gods have once again proven their hearts are as heavy as their riffs — Judas Priest have made a massive donation to the Los Angeles Fire Department to help those affected by the devastating wildfires sweeping through California. 🏜️🔥
Frontman Rob Halford, who’s long called LA home, said the band “couldn’t just stand by while people and animals are losing everything.” The donation will help fund emergency response equipment, firefighter relief, and community recovery programs for families displaced by the ongoing blazes. 👨🚒💔
Fans have been praising the move online, calling it “true metal compassion.” Halford, known as The Metal God for a reason, added:
“We’ve always believed metal brings people together — and that includes helping those on the front lines keeping us safe.” 🤘
It’s not the first time Priest have lent a helping hand. From charity shows for animal shelters to fundraising for cancer research, these legends have always put their money (and leather) where their mouth is. 🖤
