Originally from Hungary, Denes Poszmik eventually made the move to Glasgow, Scotland — a city with its own proud history of embracing creativity, weirdness, and glorious musical experimentation.

In 2023, Denes officially launched Vortex Sutra, a solo project created specifically as an outlet for musical ideas that didn’t comfortably fit within normal expectations.

🍻 FIRST CONTACT AT BANNERMAN’S

The project first stepped onto the live stage in 2024 at the legendary Bannerman’s Bar — one of the UK underground scene’s most beloved venues.
