Looks like the shades, the swagger, and the sermonising are heading straight to your telly, butt — a feature-length film about U2’s Bono is officially in the works, ready to beam straight into your living room.

This won’t be your average rock doc either. From his early days as a scrappy Dublin lad with a dream (and questionable mullet), to fronting the biggest band on the planet, the film promises to dive into Bono’s rise, his activism, and, let’s be honest, a fair bit of preaching to presidents. Expect plenty of iconic gigs – Slane Castle, Live Aid, that time he nearly killed himself climbing into the crowd – alongside tales of sunglasses that cost more than your car. 😎

Whether you see him as rock’s saintly saviour or the king of humblebrag, there’s no denying Bono’s lived a life worth filming. Love him or love to moan about him, you’ll be glued to the screen. Proper job for U2 fans, and a guilty pleasure for the rest of us.

📺 Release date and broadcaster are being kept under wraps for now, but safe bet it’ll be one of the big players (Netflix, Disney+, or maybe the Beeb if they’re feeling lush).

So, what’s occurring? Will you be tuning in to watch the gospel according to Bono, or will you be hiding behind the sofa when the leather pants come out? 🤘
