The mountain isn’t just about massive riffs, towering amplifiers and headbanging until your neck gives up. If you’re lucky enough to have VIP access at Steelhouse Festival 2026, Friday also brings the chance to experience two incredible artists in a much more intimate setting.

Away from the thunder of the main stage, the VIP Acoustic Stage offers fans the rare opportunity to see some of the weekend’s biggest names strip everything back. No walls of distortion, no towering stacks of speakers—just great songs, brilliant musicianship and stories from the artists themselves.

🎤 Parker Barrow

🕔 Friday 24th July – 4:50pm to 5:20pm

If you love Southern rock with plenty of blues swagger, Parker Barrow should already be on your must-see list. Their acoustic performance promises to showcase another side of the band, highlighting powerful vocals, soulful melodies and the songwriting that sits behind their energetic live shows.

It’s the perfect chance to catch them up close before they unleash their full electric performance elsewhere during the festival.

🎸 Luke Morley

🕢 Friday 24th July – 7:30pm to 8:00pm

Few musicians have left a bigger mark on British rock than Luke Morley. As the legendary songwriter and guitarist behind Thunder, Morley has written countless anthems over the years, and seeing him perform acoustically is something genuinely special.

Expect classic songs, heartfelt storytelling and an intimate atmosphere that you simply won’t find on the main stage. These acoustic sessions often become some of the most talked-about moments of the entire weekend, giving fans a unique insight into the music and the man behind it.

🍻 A Different Side of Steelhouse

One of the best things about Steelhouse is that it offers something for everyone. Yes, there are huge headline performances, roaring guitar solos and festival-sized singalongs, but there are also quieter moments where the music takes centre stage in a completely different way.

The VIP Acoustic Stage has become one of those hidden gems. Grab yourself a cold pint, pull up a seat and enjoy a performance that feels more like a private gig than a festival appearance.

🤘 The Riff Report Says…

If you’ve got VIP access, don’t spend all day in the bar—you’ll kick yourself if you miss these sets!

Parker Barrow will bring Southern soul and blues-soaked rock to the mountain, while Luke Morley is guaranteed to deliver a masterclass in songwriting from one of British rock’s true legends.

Sometimes the loudest moments of a festival aren’t the ones with the biggest amplifiers—they’re the ones where every note means something.

We’ll be covering the whole weekend from the mountain with reviews, photos, interviews and plenty of festival chaos. If you spot The Riff Report wandering around with cameras in hand, come over and say hello. We’d love to hear which bands are blowing your mind this weekend.

See you up the mountain, butt! 🤘🏔️🔥
