Live at The Globe – Saturday 26th July 2025

Tickets, Travel & Total Mayhem Incoming 🎸🔥

🤘 “SCREAM FOR ME CARDIFF!”

Oi oi, metalheads! If you’ve ever dreamt of hearing the mighty Maiden’s riffs rip through the valleys, now’s your chance — because Ed Force One, the UK’s most ferocious Iron Maiden tribute band, are flying into The Globe, Cardiff on Saturday 26th July 2025, and it’s going to be ABSOLUTE CARNAGE.

Whether you’re a denim-clad diehard or just fancy a night of heavy metal madness with your mates, this show promises galloping basslines, face-melting solos, and more air-guitar than a school disco in the ’80s.

🎟️ Ticket Info – Don’t Be a Muppet, Book It!

Tickets are live RIGHT NOW via Ticketek.co.uk — and they’re cheaper than a round of drinks at the pub (barely).

  • 🎫 General Admission: £15.00 (plus booking fee)
  • 🕺 Standing room only – so get ready to throw the horns and get stuck in the pit (or prop up the bar, we won’t judge)

Age Limit: 14+ (Under 18s must be with an adult, no excuses – Eddie doesn’t babysit)
Doors Open: 7:00 PM
Support Act: Usually a local rock band to get the blood pumping – TBC but expect riffs 🥁

🗺️ Getting to The Globe, Cardiff – Your Gig-Day Mission

The Globe is one of Cardiff’s most intimate and beloved venues – and that means get there early, or get stuck in the back behind a 6’4 bloke called Gareth.

📍 Address:

The Globe, 125 Albany Road, Cardiff, CF24 3NS

🚆 By Train:

  • Head to Cardiff Queen Street Station – it’s the closest stop.
  • From there, it’s a 15-minute walk or a quick hop in a taxi.
  • Coming from outside Cardiff? Cardiff Central is your best major station — transfer to Queen Street or catch a local bus/Uber.

🚌 By Bus:

  • Buses 28, 29, and 52 all run along Albany Road.
  • Ask the driver for The Globe — if they’re a rock fan, they’ll know!

🚗 By Car:

  • There’s no official parking, but loads of residential streets nearby. Get there early, park sensibly, and DON’T block someone’s driveway — unless you fancy getting booted by a Nan with a rolling pin 🧓🥴

🚖 Uber/Taxis:

  • Easy peasy. Just type in The Globe Cardiff and get dropped right at the door.
  • Perfect if you’re planning a few pints 🍻

🎵 The Setlist? Pure Maiden Mayhem

While the setlist is always a little surprise, expect a full-on barrage of bangers like:

  • The Trooper
  • Run to the Hills
  • Aces High
  • Fear of the Dark
  • 2 Minutes to Midnight
  • Wasted Years
  • …and possibly a cheeky Revelations or Phantom of the Opera if we’re lucky 🔮

This isn’t some knock-off pub band. Ed Force One bring the full-scale Maiden experience – from Bruce-worthy vocals to thundering drums, twin-guitar wizardry, and that galloping Steve Harris energy that could wake the dead.

You might even spot a version of Eddie lurking around the crowd, photobombing your selfies and generally scaring the sh*t out of people 😅💀

🕶️ What to Wear:

  • Denim vest with all the patches
  • Vintage Maiden tee (bonus points if it’s older than your mate’s kid)
  • Bandana / war paint optional
  • Zero f*cks given 🧢🤘

🧃 Drinks & Merch

  • Bar inside: Yes! Reasonably priced for a venue – you’ll be paying about £5 for a pint.
  • Merch stand: Usually a couple of tees, badges and Maiden-themed goodies.
  • Card payments: Almost always accepted – but bring some cash just in case.

🧠 Final Thoughts: Should You Go?

💬 HELL YES, BUTT.

This is the gig that’ll make you fall back in love with live music (if you ever fell out in the first place). For £15, you get a sweaty night of top-class metal, a crowd that’ll chant every lyric, and an atmosphere hotter than Trooper ale left in a tent at Bloodstock 🤯🔥

🧟‍♂️ Summary Checklist:

✅ Iron Maiden tribute so good you’ll check the tour dates twice
✅ One of Cardiff’s loudest grassroots venues
✅ Tickets for just £15
✅ Pints, pits, and pure power
✅ Saturday night = No excuse not to go!

📣 FINAL WARNING:
