Shock rock legend Alice Cooper has thrown his leather-gloved support behind the campaign to finally get Iron Maiden inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame – and honestly, about time mun!
Cooper, who himself was inducted back in 2011, said it’s “criminal” that Maiden haven’t been recognised yet, calling the British metal titans “one of the most influential and enduring heavy rock bands of all time.” 🎤🔥
Despite decades of platinum albums, stadium-sized tours, and Eddie the Head being more recognisable than most politicians, Maiden keep getting snubbed while softer acts waltz in. Cooper made it clear:
“If you’re talking about pure rock and roll impact, Iron Maiden should be in there without question.”
