Formed in 1993 in York, Asomvel are the purest heavy metal grit you’ll find. Inspired by Motörhead, they’ve always kept things loud, dirty, and unpretentious. Tragedy struck in 2010 when frontman Jay-Jay Winter was killed in a car crash, but the band powered on, with his nephew Ralph taking over vocals and bass.

They’ve since released Knuckle Duster (2013) and World Shaker (2019), earning respect in the underground metal scene. They’re relentless, raw, and absolutely perfect for Stonedead’s no-nonsense vibe.
