Cardiff Castle’s about to sprout wings, butt. Alter Bridge are bringing their own festival to the heart of the capital next summer, and it’s got a name that’ll make fans grin from ear to ear: Blackbird Festival. Date for your diaries: Saturday, 27 June 2026. Venue: the stunning Castle Green inside Cardiff Castle.

Blackbird Festival is part of the TK Maxx presents DEPOT Live at Cardiff Castle summer series — which, let’s be honest, has been turning the Castle into Wales’ loudest courtyard for years now.
