Fresh images have been unveiled of Bristol’s brand-new Aviva Arena, and if these stunning renders are anything to go by, this place is going to become one of the UK’s premier destinations for live music.

Set to open in 2028, the impressive 20,000-capacity venue will transform the historic Brabazon Hangars into a world-class entertainment arena capable of hosting the biggest names in music, comedy, sport and live events.

One of the coolest things about the project is its location.

Rather than building from scratch, the arena is being created inside the iconic Brabazon Hangars, preserving part of Bristol’s rich aviation heritage while giving the site a completely new lease of life.

It’s a brilliant blend of old and new—keeping the history alive while creating something built for the future.

The newly released images showcase an impressive glass-fronted entrance, huge public spaces, premium hospitality areas and a modern design that looks every bit like a world-class venue.

South Wales has always had a brilliant live music scene, with Cardiff hosting countless arena tours over the years. But having another major venue just down the road gives touring artists even more options—and hopefully means even more shows for us to enjoy.
