๐ฅ๐ BURGER KING REVIEW โ IS IT A MAJOR RIP OFF OR A TIDY FEAST? ๐๐ฅ
Alright butt, letโs get into it โ Burger King, the flame-grilled bad boy of the fast-food world. Known for whoppers bigger than your nanโs Sunday roast plate, but also for prices that sometimes make you wonder if youโve accidentally wandered into a posh Cardiff steakhouse. ๐ธ๐
๐ท The Big Question: Rip Off or Worth It?
The Burgers ๐
Credit where itโs due โ BK burgers do taste different. That flame-grilled char slaps harder than Metallicaโs first riff at Download. A Whopper is a proper meaty beast โ juicy, smoky, messy in all the right ways. BUTโฆ when you clock that price?
- Whopper (on its own): around ยฃ6.49
- Whopper Meal (with chips & drink): ยฃ8.99โยฃ9.49
For that money, I could grab a cheeky kebab after a gig and still have change for cheesy chips, mun. ๐๐ง
The Chicken Range ๐
The Royale is tasty, no doubt. But againโฆ pricey.
- Chicken Royale (burger only): around ยฃ6.29
- Meal deal: ยฃ8.79โยฃ9.29
Compare that to a McDonaldโs Mayo Chicken for 99p (alright, not the same league, but still) โ you start to feel your wallet giving you dirty looks.
The Sides ๐
Chips areโฆ fine. Nothing to sing about. McDonaldโs still rules the chip throne.
- Regular Fries: ยฃ2.29
- Large Fries: ยฃ2.89
- Onion Rings (6 pieces): ยฃ2.49
Onion rings? More like sad crunchy halos of disappointment. You want proper onion rings? Go to a pub, cโmon.
The Drinks ๐ฅค
Free refills, which is lush. But unless youโre camping in the restaurant for three hours like itโs Steelhouse Festivalโs pre-party, how many cokes can you realistically sink?
- Regular Drink: ยฃ2.49
- Large Drink: ยฃ2.89
The Deals & โValueโ Menu ๐คจ
Now hereโs the kicker: Burger King does have offers on their app โ like 2 Whoppers for ยฃ6.99 or Chicken Royale + Fries for ยฃ3.99. But if you walk in without the app? Youโre paying almost double. Feels a bit cheeky, doesnโt it? Like charging VIP prices just to stand at the front of the mosh pit.
๐ค Verdict:
Burger King? Tidy flavour, hefty burgers, but your bank balance will be crying harder than Oasis fans waiting for a reunion. Is it a rip-off? Kinda, yeah. Youโre paying restaurant prices for fast food โ but sometimes that smoky Whopper magic reels you back in like a dodgy encore.
๐ Riff Report Rating:
Taste โ ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅโ
Value โ ๐ธ๐ธโโโ
Overall โ โGood, but bloody pricey, mun!โ
Cโmon butt โ would you pay ยฃ9 for a Whopper meal, or stick to Maccies & KFC for a cheaper gig snack? ๐ค
