In scenes straight outta the 90s, fans have been camping outside the Principality Stadium in Cardiff ahead of the reunion of the decade โ Oasis back together for their monumental return to the stage. ๐ค
But what started as a soggy sleepover turned into a proper fairy tale. On the eve of the big gig, the Gallagher brothers pulled off a rock โnโ roll miracle, surprising loyal fans whoโd been braving the Welsh drizzle with an absolute whopper of a gift. ๐ฅ
๐๏ธ Fan Dedication on Another Level
Letโs be honest โ Oasis fans are built different.
Theyโve got Gallaghers in their playlists, in their wardrobes, and some even inked into their skin. So when whispers of a reunion tour hit, fans immediately started queuing. Some rocked up four days early with nothing but a tent, a speaker blasting Definitely Maybe, and dreams of chanting โSoooo Sally can waitโฆโ at full pelt with 70,000 others.
One fan, wrapped in a Union Jack blanket and sipping warm Strongbow, told us:
โMate, Iโd camp through a hurricane if it meant seeing Oasis live again. I saw them in Knebworth. This… this is spiritual.โ
Another added:
โThis is our Glasto, butt. Iโve missed work, spent my holiday money, and I donโt care. Worth every penny.โ
๐ Surprise Drop: Oasis Go Full Santa Mode
Then it happened.
At around 7am โ just as someone started playing Wonderwall for the 17th time โ a convoy of branded Oasis vans pulled up outside Gate 2. Out hopped the crew, carrying what looked like treasure chests of rock gold. ๐ค
Without warning, the most loyal campers were handpicked for a VIP surprise โ a gift reportedly worth more than ยฃ3,000 EACH.
And weโre not talkinโ a signed photo and a sweaty towel. Oh no. Here’s what the lucky ones scored:

Fans immediately lost the plot online, replying with everything from โKINGโ to โJust married my camping chair in honour of this.โ

๐ธ Cardiff Goes Wild
The reaction outside the stadium was pure euphoria. Fans chanted Oasis anthems, local pubs started blasting Supersonic, and one bloke even let off a flare (again โ don’t do that, mun). ๐ช๏ธ
The streets were full of makeshift Gallagher tributes โ denim jackets, parka parades, and a full Liam lookalike leading a group chant of Cigarettes & Alcohol like it was a national hymn. ๐งข๐ป
The vibe? Unmatched.
๐ฃ๏ธ โItโs like Glastonbury met a Champions League final and had a baby in Splott.โ
Even a hen party passing by ditched their bride-to-be banners and joined in. Only in Wales, mun.

Look, bands are always trying gimmicks. But this? This was pure class. No corporate nonsense. No influencer claptrap. Just real fans getting real love from the band that defined a generation.
And in doing so, Oasis have cemented that this reunion ainโt about money or nostalgia alone. Itโs about reclaiming the roar, the mad nights, the Gallagher swagger, and the raw love of music.
