A hardcore punk and post-hardcore pilgrimage. Started as a one-day DIY event, it’s now split across two cities for a double blast of chaos.

Why it’s hot: If Download is a stadium, Outbreak is a sweaty basement gig turned up to 11. Crowd surfers will outnumber security.
3️⃣ Bloodstock Open Air 2025 – Catton Park, Derbyshire

Born in 2001 as a one-day indoor gig in Derby, Bloodstock has mutated into a four-day open-air metal crusade.

Why it’s hot: If you like your riffs doomy, your beer dark, and your mosh pits like Norse battlefields, this is your church.
4️⃣ Reading & Leeds 2025 – Reading & Bramham Park, Leeds

Once the UK’s purest rock festival, now a multi-genre monster — but still delivers big guitar moments.
2025 rock side of the bill: Bring Me The Horizon, Limp Bizkit, The Kooks, Paramore (rumoured), Foo Fighters (heavy rumours for a surprise), alongside pop/rap crossovers like Hozier & Travis Scott.
Why it’s hot: Two sites, same weekend, identical chaos. Circle pits by day, questionable campsite karaoke by night.
5️⃣ Firevolt Festival 2025 – Eccles, Greater Manchester

Why it’s hot: The only festival where you can watch a band shred while a sheep looks mildly unimpressed behind the fence.
