🔥 MARCH 7 – Old Dogs, New Demons
🎤 The Wildhearts – Satanic Rites of the Wildhearts
Oh, they’re back, baby. After imploding spectacularly (again), Ginger Wildheart resurrected the band with a new lineup and dropped their eleventh studio album — and it absolutely slaps. Mixing punk swagger, glam sensibilities, and classic metal riffage, Satanic Rites… is dirty, shouty, catchy chaos. In other words, peak Wildhearts.

💀 Destruction – Birth of Malice
Germany’s most unrelenting thrashers dropped their sixteenth album, and it’s everything you’d expect and more. Schmier still sounds like he gargles with sandpaper and rage. The riffs? Blistering. The solos? Sharp enough to draw blood. Thrash ain’t dead — it’s just faster than ever.

⚡ MARCH 14 – Thrash In The Flesh
🔥 Warbringer – Wrath and Ruin
Five years since their last assault, Warbringer return with a dystopian concept album that slaps harder than a mosh pit bouncer. Think cyberpunk thrash with Tolkien rage — we’re talking blast beats about class warfare and technofeudalism. Who else is doing that?

🎭 MARCH 21 – Chaos Meets Craft
👑 Imperial Triumphant – Goldstar
You ever wanted to be assaulted by a jazz band in an abandoned opera house while a masked figure in gold robes screams at you? No? Well, Goldstar is that vibe. This blackened avant-metal masterclass features Dave Lombardo and Tomas Haake on drums, plus horns, strings, and soul-devouring darkness. Beautiful madness.

🌌 Deafheaven – Lonely People With Power
Deafheaven once again walk the tightrope between euphoria and annihilation. Their sixth album is a moody, textured blackgaze journey featuring guest spots from Interpol’s Paul Banks and Jae Matthews (Boy Harsher). It’s shimmering, devastating, cinematic.

🩸 Arch Enemy – Blood Dynasty
Angela Gossow ain’t back, but Blood Dynasty still rules. With Joey Concepcion (Armageddon) on guitars and a fresh fury in Alissa White-Gluz’s vocals, this album delivers melodic death anthems built to destroy festival fields.

🪃 Alien Weaponry – Te Rā
Straight outta Aotearoa, the Māori-metal warriors are back with more groove-laced war cries. Te Rā (“The Sun”) mixes traditional instruments, cultural storytelling, and bone-breaking riffs. Randy Blythe features on Taniwha, and the whole album is fierce, fresh, and proudly indigenous.
