Finnish rock legends The Rasmus have once again shown that their hearts are just as powerful as their riffs — raising an incredible $84,000 (£68,000) to support a children’s hospital in Ukraine. 🕊️
Frontman Lauri Ylönen and the band teamed up with charity partners in Helsinki and Kyiv, donating proceeds from special charity concerts, merch drops, and limited-edition vinyl sales — all to help provide life-saving equipment and supplies for young patients affected by the ongoing war. 💙💛
“Music can’t stop the bombs,” said Lauri, “but it can heal people — even if just for a few minutes. This is our way of standing with the kids and families who need hope the most.”
The Rasmus, who represented Finland at Eurovision 2022 with Jezebel, have been vocal supporters of peace and aid efforts in Ukraine since the invasion began. Their message? Rock can still change the world — one chorus at a time. 🤘
