What’s occurring, thrashers? Megadeth — the snarling war machine led by Dave Mustaine’s lion’s mane of metal fury — have announced the end of the line. A farewell tour. The final march of the Deth. 💀

But here’s the kicker: buried deep in their arsenal, there are 58 songs Megadeth have NEVER played live. That’s right — entire albums’ worth of riffs, solos, and sneers that have never left the studio.

So… will we finally get to hear these rarities on the big farewell? Or will they stay locked in the vault forever like Mustaine’s chiropractor bills? Let’s dive in, mun. 🏴

🎤 Will They Finally Play Them?

Why They Might:

Final tour = surprises. Slayer threw in “Gemini” on their farewell. Iron Maiden finally caved and played “Alexander the Great.” Megadeth could dig deep for the hardcore fans. Fan demand. Reddit is a battlefield of setlist wishlists. Everyone’s yelling “Five Magics!” “Diadems!” “This Was My Life!”

Why They Might Not:

Mustaine’s beliefs. Some songs (The Conjuring, Good Mourning/Black Friday) got the boot for “occult” content. If he’s not budging, don’t expect those riffs to rise. Hits vs. Rarities. They’re not gonna ditch Symphony of Destruction or Peace Sells. Casuals still need their anthems.

🥁 The Fantasy Farewell Setlist (If The Gods Were Kind)

Imagine this for one night only:

Wake Up Dead In My Darkest Hour Five Magics (LIVE DEBUT 🔥) Angry Again Diadems (LIVE DEBUT 🔥) Rust in Peace… Polaris (LIVE DEBUT 🔥) Tornado of Souls This Was My Life (LIVE DEBUT 🔥) A Tout le Monde Holy Wars… The Punishment Due

Tell me that wouldn’t make you cry into your pint. 😭🍻

💀 The Riff Report Verdict

Will we get all 58? Nah.

Will we get some? Very likely.

And if Megadeth truly want to leave as thrash kings, then unleashing even a handful of these lost monsters would make this farewell the stuff of metal legend.

So c’mon Dave — dust off those forgotten riffs, mun. It’d be a proper job. 🤘
